In December 2024, the Galápagos Life Fund (GLF) launched its first call for grants, focusing on two strategic areas for marine conservation in the archipelago: environmental education and community outreach, and sustainable fishing. The process followed the established timeline and included a rigorous technical evaluation. As a result, 18 innovative projects committed to the sustainable development of the islands were approved.
