Transparency is a cornerstone of effective conservation

As part of the Blue Galápagos: Sustainable Fisheries Management project, funded by the Galápagos Life Fund (GLF) and implemented by WildAid, the Fisheries Transparency Initiative (FiTI) Ecuador conducted a technical mission in Santa Cruz, bringing together government institutions and representatives from the fisheries sector to strengthen transparency, improve access to fisheries information, and promote stronger fisheries governance in Galápagos.

During the mission, the GLF technical team participated in the working sessions, contributing to an initiative that advances more transparent, accountable, and sustainable fisheries management across the archipelago.
