At the Galapagos Life Fund, we support initiatives that strengthen waste management and environmental education in Galápagos. In San Cristóbal, in collaboration with the municipality and Fundación E4NG, ecological bins have been installed at strategic points along the waterfront, helping promote cleaner and more organized public spaces.
Made from recycled materials, these bins not only facilitate proper waste disposal ♻️, but also incorporate educational signage and community engagement processes that encourage responsible habits and foster greater environmental awareness. This initiative goes beyond infrastructure—it contributes to building a culture of care and shared responsibility for Galápagos.
At GLF, we promote these types of efforts because we believe conservation is also built through everyday actions: in how we use, recycle, and care for our environment each day.
