Cinema, Learning, and Action with ORCA Club

Children from ORCA Club enjoyed a special day with the screening of Galápagos Sea Lions by DisneyNature—an experience that sparked curiosity, excitement, and many questions about the archipelago’s extraordinary wildlife.
For this activity, the four ORCA Club groups came together, strengthening their bonds as a community of “little orcas.” The day was complemented with educational games and interactive activities, where participants learned about alternative energy sources—such as solar panels—and reflected on how everyday actions can contribute to caring for the environment.
ORCA Club is a project implemented by Maximilian Martin and funded by the Galápagos Life Fund. It supports children of fishers and members of the Santa Cruz community through an ongoing educational process, connecting them with the ocean, science, and conservation to inspire new generations committed to the future of Galápagos.
