Registration of Non-Governmental Organizations to Join the GLF Board of Directors
, May Thu, 2025
Galápagos Life Fund (GLF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the maintenance, growth, and security of the natural capital of the Galápagos Islands and their marine ecosystems. To fulfill this mission, the GLF is governed by a Board of Directors composed of 11 members, including one representative from the NGO sector.
For the first two years of the GLF’s operation, the Pew Bertarelli Ocean Legacy initiative has served as the representative of this sector. However, following the GLF’s bylaws, this representation is limited to a defined term.
The time has now come to renew this Representative Member and open the opportunity for other organizations to participate. We are therefore launching the process to elect a new NGO sector representative to the GLF Board of Directors.
We encourage you to support this transparent and participatory process. If your organization would like to join the sector, we invite you to complete the registration through the following form.
Registration is open from May 22 to June 12.
Let’s continue working together to strengthen marine conservation in the Galápagos Islands.
