Call for NGO Sector Representative
The Galápagos Life Fund (GLF) is a non-profit corporation whose mission is to promote the maintenance, growth, and security of the natural capital of the Galápagos Islands and their marine ecosystems. To achieve this goal, GLF is governed by a Board of Directors composed of 11 members, including a representative from the NGO sector.
During GLF’s first two years of operation, the NGO representative seat was held by Pew Bertarelli Ocean Legacy. However, in accordance with GLF’s bylaws, this position has a defined term limit.
It is now time to renew this seat and open the opportunity to other organizations. We are launching the process to select a new NGO representative to serve on the GLF Board.
We invite your organization to take part in this transparent and participatory process. If you are interested in joining the NGO sector, please complete the registration form below.
Registration is open from May 22 to July 16. Let’s continue working together to strengthen marine conservation in our islands.
