New Fishing Sector Representative joins the Board of Directors

The Galápagos Life Fund (GLF) announces the appointment of Ángel Valencia, president of the COPROPAG Fishing Cooperative, as a new Board member representing the fishing sector.
Ángel Valencia brings a strong track record of community leadership in Galápagos fisheries, working closely with local cooperatives to strengthen artisanal fishing.
His appointment was made through an independent internal process within the fishing sector, and he will serve a two-year term on the Board.
