Donation of Equipment to Strengthen Marine Control

As part of the project to strengthen the marine monitoring and enforcement system, implemented by WildAid, the Galápagos Life Fund (GLF) delivered more than USD 130,000 in spare parts, navigation, and safety equipment to the Galápagos National Park Directorate.
This investment ensures that the Park’s oceanic and interceptor vessels remain fully operational and ready to respond to threats such as illegal fishing, wildlife trafficking, and other illicit activities that endanger the unique biodiversity of the Hermandad Marine Reserve and the Galápagos Marine Reserve.
