, November 21, 2025
The Galápagos Life Fund (GLF) held its 17th Board of Directors meeting, a key moment for advancing the archipelago’s conservation and sustainable development agenda. The session took place at the Ministry of Environment and Energy in Quito, with the participation of all eleven board members, who joined both in person and virtually, along with their respective observers.
During the meeting, the Board confirmed the date for launching the second call for funding proposals — a process that will support new community projects and strengthen ongoing conservation initiatives in Galápagos. This announcement will be made public in the coming days.
With this session, the GLF reaffirms its commitment to working collaboratively with all sectors of the territory to protect the archipelago’s unique ecosystems.
